From the moment I read the blurb for this novel I knew I HAD to read it and I’m so glad I did. And the stunning cover didn’t hurt at all as far as drawing my attention.

OK I’m going to try to put my thoughts and feelings about The Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros into words as best as I can manage. The second this book was announced my obsession for all things Red Tower Publishing began and I just knew this was going to be the publication for me. If there’s one thing I love it’s all things fantasy. Fantasy romance? Sign me the hell up.
A Crown of Ivy and Glass by Claire Legrand has been one of my most anticipated reads for this year and it truly did not disappoint.
Right from the get go of Promised to the Prince I knew I was going to like Maya. She’s a badass with a weapon right from the opening scene and I loved it. This opinion stuck with me throughout the entirety of the book, though for different reasons. Though she puts down the sword in later years, she is still such a strong, independent woman throughout the course of the novel, both past and present, and this made her such a standout character.
Whew lads. This was one of my most potent thoughts while in the midst of reading Satan’s Affair by H. D. Carlton. I mean I expected this novella to be a wild ride, because you know, Sibby, but dang was it graphic (this is mentioned in the trigger warnings so please make sure to check them if you have any triggers).
