Ashley Poston’s The Seven Year slip is an adorable romance story

Oh my darling Clementine.

Having read the authors previous book, The Dead Romantics, and loving what a heartwarming, romantic story it was, I was very eager to get my hands on this book when I heard about it.

Vela Roth’s Blood Gift is how you keep a master-class in how to keep a series fresh and interesting

The payoff in Vela Roth’s Blood Gift from storylines and plot points set up in the last several books was phenomenal. There was a culmination of so many things that had been introduced in previous books and returned in some manner, and for this reason consider this my spoiler warning for those who might not have caught up on all the books yet, and proceed with extreme caution.

Beauty and the Demon by Aurora Ascher was another fun, pleasant ride through the Hell Bent series

Filled with funny moments, tonnes of spice, and the kind of hot tension you might expect from a demon and his witch. This might have ended up being my favourite couple yet, much to my own surprise.

Shattered Saint by Bri Blackwood is a fast moving dark romance that will make readers want to finish it in one sitting.

I know I did.

Bianca and Easton meet at a party her parents throw, which is how this book opens, and it shows a few events about their connection before jumping to two years later. They seem to hit it off initially, but in the present timeline they butt heads and avoid one another, cueing in the enemies to lovers trope you’ll find in this book. As a sucker for enemies to lovers I was all for this.

Ashley N. Rostek’s Escape the Reaper is one hell of an emotional ride
