Pepper Winters has done it again

Pepper Winters keeps blowing me away with phenomenal dark romance, this time in Ruby Tears. Now, when I say this is DARK romance, I mean dark. To be clear this is not for the faint of heart, so proceed with caution and check trigger warnings, but it’s a definite must read as far as I’m concerned. To be transparent, this book tackles extremely tough topics, ie. trafficking, which means it can be a hard, emotional read.

Cor Amare is just…wow

Deep breaths. I was stunned, speechless, utterly in love with Lunamare, the first book in the Luna duet, and couldn’t imagine how any other book could possibly compare, yet here I am, feeling the same way about Cor Amare, the second book in the duet by Pepper Winters, all over again.

When a Moth Loved a Bee is heart wrenchingly beautiful

This story alternates between the Girl and the Stranger. They are both lost souls who have forgotten everything to do with their pasts, and it shows them navigating the world separately as they try to remember who they are while starting a new life. The only hint of their past that they remember is the faint memory of someone who they cared for deeply, though they don’t recall the persons face or anything beyond their prior existence.
