There were a number of points of view characters in this book, and they all worked together cohesively to tell the story as well as to build up tension and doubt which made for effective storytelling. The mesh of characters and their motives made for unreliable narrators which I loved and the actions and thoughts of one character would cast doubt on another which led to uncertainty as to who to believe and how each character might be involved in the slew of events.
I was honestly completely hooked on this story from start to finish. The tension was absolutely on point, and the different points of view were essential to this, ramping the story up just to leave you needing more as it switched to someone else. Or in other cases, connecting dots from one character to another and filling in necessary blanks. It was also deeply intriguing to be reading from these characters perspectives, wondering if they could be trusted or if they were unreliable narrators from the start. The characters managed to be interesting because they were flawed in their own ways and some of them had very complicated relationships with one another, which also served to generate questions on whether certain people could be trusted or not.
Everything meshed so well and managed to keep the tension and questions high for the majority of the book which made it go by fast and difficult to put down. I really ended up enjoying Bad Honeymoon and cannot wait for more from the author as it was a truly good thriller.
