Running is a very important part of my daily life for over a decade now. When I first started running, it was to become more active and do something healthy for myself that would increase my endurance. Now, so many years later it has become an essential part of my existence, and often provides me with a much needed outlet for anxiety and a way to deal with anything that might be on my mind. It might be cliché, but it’s become therapeutic for me.

A huge thanks to Simon & Schuster and Netgalley for the e-arc.
I’ll start by saying this was definitely an enjoyable book, I just didn’t necessarily love it. It was nice as a different little read but didn’t quite end up being what I expected in the end in a way that wasn’t for the better as far as my tastes run. Not to discourage anyone from reading, it just wasn’t quite to my taste, but it was still well written and had a very interesting concept.
A big thanks for the ARC and the chance to read this book ahead of its release.
Secluded Cabin Sleeps Six was very atmospheric right from the start. The setting itself was such an essential part to the story because it immediately set the tone of the novel and somehow managed to be so creepy even though it was supposedly such a beautiful location.
