Beauty and the Demon by Aurora Ascher was another fun, pleasant ride through the Hell Bent series

Filled with funny moments, tonnes of spice, and the kind of hot tension you might expect from a demon and his witch. This might have ended up being my favourite couple yet, much to my own surprise.

Shattered Saint by Bri Blackwood is a fast moving dark romance that will make readers want to finish it in one sitting.

I know I did.

Bianca and Easton meet at a party her parents throw, which is how this book opens, and it shows a few events about their connection before jumping to two years later. They seem to hit it off initially, but in the present timeline they butt heads and avoid one another, cueing in the enemies to lovers trope you’ll find in this book. As a sucker for enemies to lovers I was all for this.

Ashley N. Rostek’s Escape the Reaper is one hell of an emotional ride

This book. Wow. Let’s just say Escape the Reaper by Ashley N. Rostek was an emotional ride. There is SO much pain to wade through in this final installment of the Maura Quinn series and there were moments that had me struggling with my own tears because I felt like I was part of Maura’s pain.

The Pucking Wrong Number by C. R. Jane is the perfect mix between hockey romance and stalker romance.

Hear me out on this. It’s the stalker being put in hockey that you didn’t know you needed. But wait, because it’s probably not the kind of stalker situation that you might expect from those words. As in, it’s not the hockey fan stalking the star hockey player, but rather the star hockey player stalking a woman he “meets” purely by chance.

Red Island by A. A. Dark was full of non-stop tension from start to finish.

It had a hard time putting this book down because I needed answers on what would happen to all the characters. No one felt safe.
