The Coven by Harper L. Wood is the witchy story I have long been waiting for. I honestly couldn’t have imagined something better myself and I am obsessed.

The Only Survivors by Megan Miranda was exactly what I was looking for in a thriller. It was unputdownable, filled with the terror of the unknown all throughout and the fear that someone would be the next victim at very turn, as well as the mystery of who was behind the goings on that kept the reader guessing all throughout.
Dead of Winter by Darcy Coates caught my eye as I felt in the mood for something of the horror genre, and this sounded like it would be a fantastic fit. I will say it definitely hit a lot of the areas I was really looking for in this vein and I quite enjoyed certain aspects of it. I would highly recommend this book for someone looking for some good horror movie, blood and fire type vibes as it was definitely an A+ in terms of that.
I have to start with the fact that A Day of Fallen Night by Samantha Shannon is such an incredible, epic fantasy story. There is so much world-building weaved throughout the course of the entirety of this massive book and I absolutely ate it up.
Blood Sanctuary Part 1 by Vela Roth was another delightful sequel in the Blood Grace series. I continue to blown away by this series and I can’t get enough of it. If you haven’t read Blood Mercy yet, and you love fantasy and romance, please do pick these books up!
