The Primal of Blood and Bone by Jennifer L Armentrout has brought this series to a whole new level with the wild point the story has come to with a whole heck of a lot of plot coming together.

There are, finally, lots of answers coming forth (although more questions are also created) and it was satisfying to see answers to ideas hinted at over the course of many books, and even the multiple series’ that take place in this world, actually be made clear. It’s also fantastic seeing how far back some of these ideas have been hinted at throughout the series and have it come together so well.

The Bodyguard Affair by Amy Lea is an adorable romance that had me laughing and rooting for the protagonists from their first meeting.

I was not expecting so many laugh out loud moments from this book, but the witty words and the perhaps not so smooth actions of the characters had me genuinely laughing throughout this book.

The War Beyond by Andrea Stewart is a very fun and capable sequel

It was just as satisfying this time around and I as quite enthralled by the Gods, the gems that bring out abilities in people, and the mysterious aeroclines that causes humans to lose their minds if they inhale it too much.

Jay Kristoff’s Empire of the Dawn. Just…wow

It’s a testament to how enthralling each separate point of view is that I was completely immersed in Gabriel’s first part of the book with his testament of events following the devastation at the end of the previous book when so many details were left a mystery to the reader.

Caught Between the Cinders by Fay Bec is an enemies to lovers romance with morally questionable characters you can’t help but root for.

Though the third book in this series, Caught Between the Embers acts as a bit of a prequel as it tells the story of Davyna’s – the main character in the rest of the books – parents.
