I was very pleasantly surprised by this book. It took me a couple chapters to really get into it and get an idea of how I might feel about it, and from that point I could not stop reading because I was so invested in the characters and the story playing out.
My. Heart.
This series honestly has me beside myself. It’s not often I find one that gets better with each subsequent book, but the Kindred’s Curse series does exactly that and leaves me stunned every time.
There was so much to love about Nevermore, from the plot which was full of action and fantastic character interaction which made for a deeply immersive read. There was plenty of tension between the secret identities, high stakes heists, and of course, between the characters themselves, which were some of the things I loved the most.
