Jay Kristoff’s Empire of the Dawn. Just…wow

It’s a testament to how enthralling each separate point of view is that I was completely immersed in Gabriel’s first part of the book with his testament of events following the devastation at the end of the previous book when so many details were left a mystery to the reader.

Caught Between the Cinders by Fay Bec is an enemies to lovers romance with morally questionable characters you can’t help but root for.

Though the third book in this series, Caught Between the Embers acts as a bit of a prequel as it tells the story of Davyna’s – the main character in the rest of the books – parents.

Michelle Chouinard’s A Tour to Die For is a very fun sequel.

Capri returns to solve another murder all while juggling her tour business and a potential new romance.

This series of books keeps blowing me away with how quickly they draw me in to the story and have me racing through the pages to get to the answers.

With Friends Like These by Alissa Lee is a different kind of thriller than the norm.

The book follows a group of women who have been partaking in a questionable game since their college years. As roommates they started playing a game dubbed the Circus, a fake killing game where the last person left alive is the ultimate winner.

The Storm is another thriller by Rachel Hawkins that enraptured me from start to finish

There are two stories being told throughout this book, that of Geneva, whose point of view the reader follows, down on her luck inn owner who is struggling to stay afloat in St. Medard’s Bay.
