When I say I was feral to get my hands on this I mean it. And it was somehow so much more than I had expected in the most satisfying way.

I was not expecting so many laugh out loud moments from this book, but the witty words and the perhaps not so smooth actions of the characters had me genuinely laughing throughout this book.
The world building continues to be this series’ greatest strength, with not only the different places ruled by a Lord or Lady with their differing magic that marks them, but also the bond between the Legacy and their Source.
