Dawn of Chaos and Fury by Melissa Roehrich was a satisfying conclusion to a dark, tempestuous series.

The world building continues to be this series’ greatest strength, with not only the different places ruled by a Lord or Lady with their differing magic that marks them, but also the bond between the Legacy and their Source.

The War Beyond by Andrea Stewart is a very fun and capable sequel

It was just as satisfying this time around and I as quite enthralled by the Gods, the gems that bring out abilities in people, and the mysterious aeroclines that causes humans to lose their minds if they inhale it too much.

I could not put Lucy Clarke’s The Castaways down

Wow. I was not expecting to be as drawn into this story as I ended up being, in fact it was one that I started and put back down after a chapter or two because I wasn’t immediately invested, but the second time I picked it up I ended up blasting through it because I couldn’t stop.
